Saint-Malo was built in 1993 for Emeraude Lines, which was wanting to operate her on their Saint-Malo – Channel Islands service. On 20th April 1995, Saint-Malo grounded off the coasts of Jersey. Once towed to port and repaired, she was offered for sale.

In 1996, Condor Ferries purchased her to replace Condor 8 on their own Saint-Malo – Saint-Helier | Saint-Peter Port service, where she remained until late-1998. When introduced, she was renamed Condor France.

Condor France was then sold and renamed Acacia. She was sold again in September 2008 and renamed Spirit 1 for service in Guadeloupe.

In March 2011, she was sold again and renamed Lovely 1, operated under the Dominican flag. She is lost since May 2014.
